If Dogerra hosts material whose rights belong to you, write to us. For a substantiated claim we hide the material first and review it after.
Write to rights@dogerra.world. There is no web form — an email is enough. Please include:
A claim without a URL or identifier is not rejected: we will ask for details and help find the material. Every claim gets a number, sent to you in the acknowledgement.
If a claim is sufficiently substantiated, the disputed material is removed from public view while the claim is reviewed. The same file will not come back automatically through a re-upload or another source. In the end the material is either restored (rights confirmed or a licence granted) or removed from public view.
The user who uploaded the material is notified of the removal and may object with evidence of their rights. The claimant receives a reasoned reply once the review is complete. Dogerra's decision does not limit either party's right to go to court.
Material is uploaded by Dogerra users. Some historical records and photographs were transferred from open sources when the registry was built.
The general claims procedure and response times are in: Dogerra Claims Procedure
Content rights and how photographs are handled are in section 7 of: Dogerra Public Offer
A claim contains your personal data: name or company name, contact, details of the work and the basis of rights, addresses of the disputed material, correspondence and the decision. We process it to review the claim, temporarily hide, restore or remove the material and protect the parties' rights (Art. 6(1)(7) of Federal Law No. 152-FZ). Details are in section 3.16 of: Dogerra Personal Data Processing Policy
